Dinosaur Party by Traci

This party was styled by Traci from Locke Photography for her son's second birthday.
Our dinosaur printables were perfect for this little boy who loves dinos! We loved the bright colours of the theme and all the fun details of this party.

Christmas Freebie!

Suddenly I realised that there's less than a month left until Christmas!
How is your gift shopping going? I am known to be very organised with these things, but I'm running a bit late this year. I need to get that sorted...

In the meantime, I can't help you with your gift shopping but I can help with the decoration of your Christmas gifts and sweet treats.

These party circles look equally cute as cupcake toppers or as an embellishment for your gifts.

Etsy Christmas Pop-up Store

A lot of you might know Etsy already and some might have never heard of it.
Etsy is a marketplace where people around the world connect to buy and sell unique goods.

Occasionally, Etsy Marketing Departments around the world organize special events to promote the Etsy brand and website.

This year, for the first time in Australia, we'll have an Etsy Christmas Pop-Up Store in Sydney! It starts tomorrow and we're excited to announce that we've been invited to showcase some of our products instore.

Shop from a wonderland of one of a kind gifts across a wide range of categories including jewellery, art, fashion, kidswear, quality vintage items and homewares. You can also take part in fun DIY workshops and witness demonstrations of skilled craftsmanship from a selection of local makers.

What else to do on a rainy weekend?

It's Spring down under and the weather is completely unpredictable. After a rather dry Winter and early Spring, we seem to be catching up with the rain now. I don't think it could get any wetter than this.

So instead of a lovely Spring weekend outside, we've stayed indoors baking cookies. These were the perfect snack for a lazy afternoon, watching old movies on the couch.

I found this recipe on Pinterest and I wasn't disappointed. I can probably say this was the best sugar cookie recipe I've ever tried (not that I've made that many before though..).
I've used a small star shaped cookie cutter and decorated the cute little stars with melted chocolate, just to make them a tad sweeter.
And you know what? They even tasted better the next day! Yum!

Rolled Sugar Cookies By Glorious Treats

- 3 cups flour
- 1 TSP baking powder
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 TSP vanilla extract

1. In a separate bowl whisk together flour and baking powder.
2. Beat together unsalted butter and sugar. Once mixed well, add in egg. Mix again, then add in vanilla.
3. Slowly add in flour mixture about a cup at a time. Mix until dough forms and begins to clump together.
4. Gather up dough and knead it with hands until it's nice and smooth. Roll it into a ball, wrap with plastic wrap, and place in fridge to chill (20-40 minutes). You will want it to be kind of firm but not hard.
5. Bake at 180º, time will depend on cookies size and thickness. Normally between 7-11 minutes.

Naughty or Nice?

How do you prove to your children that Santa really exists? Sometimes you need an official document to show them! So I've created these friendly documents for you to use with your little ones: A Nice List Certificate and a Naughty List Warning from Santa.

These have editable text fields, so you can type your child's name and add Santa's comments. You can use that section to encourage and congratulate your little ones for their good behaviour or, if they has been a little naughty, to let them know what they need to do, to get back on the Nice List.

You can find these in the shop!

Letter to Santa kit

I remember writing my Letter to Santa when I was a kid. We used to do this at school about a month before Christmas, so our parents knew the presents we were hoping to get that year.
I always believed in Santa as a child, until one day my older sister decided to prove me wrong and showed me the hidden presents in my parent's closet. I was devastated. But I eventually forgave her :)

I didn't have anything like this in the shop, so I designed this printable Letter to Santa kit, completed with a North Pole addressed envelope to match. I just love how it turned out!

New Christmas party themes

I can't believe it's November already, this year has gone by so fast!
Last year I got a little distracted and didn't have enough time to design all the Christmas themes I wanted and this year I knew I wouldn't make the same mistake again.

In the last few weeks I've been busy designing new Christmas printables to add to the shop. I have completed the Red & Green theme and I created the new Winter Wonderland theme, in a gorgeous turquoise and grey colour scheme.

Both printable party packs are available in the "Holidays/Seasonal" section of the shop.

I love the cupcake toppers and the hot chocolate bar sign of the Red & Green theme but I also really like the colours and the serenity of the Winter Wonderland theme.
Which one is your favourite?

Our new website and online shop!

It's been 2 years since I've opened my Etsy shop. It all started as a little hobby and it slowly developed into a real business.

I love Etsy. It's a great marketplace, it has lots of handmade and unique items and you can find it all in one place. But the fact that you need to have an Etsy account to make a purchase was leaving a lot of potential customers out.
It was time to keep up with the development of my little business and set up a proper website and online shop of my own. And today I'm proud to announce that we're online at!

The Etsy shop is still up and running, but now you can purchase directly from the website too!
Come check it out!

House Warming Party

After moving so many times before we weren't really in the mood for a big house warming when we moved into our new apartment.
But I love having an excuse to set up a party table, so when we invited a few friends over to meet the new place I knew I had to use the sweet House Warming theme I had designed a few months ago.

This was a small and casual get together, so instead of a big dessert table, we had mostly savoury finger food and a couple of sweets for dessert: mini chocolate cupcakes and cake pops. Yum!

I used craft wrapping paper to cover the table and the boxes that provided some height to the dessert corner. We didn't want to put anything on the wall, so we wrapped the banner around the table, which turned out perfectly. The mini-bunting and the little “yum” flags on the cake pops were my favourite details. I guess everything looks cutter in small sizes!

I was very happy with the final result, I love the colours of this theme and it was great to see it “in action”.

Find this theme in the shop and more photos in the Facebook album.
