Moustaches on a stick

After my first printable photo booth props collection (on this post), I had a request for moustaches. Of course these were already planned and only waiting for testing before being available at the shop.

Now you can find printable moustaches and beards on a stick for your diy wedding or party.
Can you imagine how funny your guests would look wearing some of these props?

How to: Party circles with a paper punch

For this tutorial I used the party circles of the Scalloped Birthday Party theme. You can find it here.
These printable party circles are really easy to use and using a 2" paper punch is the best way to get the perfect cut.

Let's see a step by step of the process:

1 - Print the file on white cardstock (use the page with square shapes)

2 - Cut the page into 3 separate columns. This will allow you to slide the paper into the paper punch "hole" and see the centred design.

3 - Position the paper into the paper punch and when the design is in place, simply squeese the handles to punch the circles.

And voila! You get perfectly centred circles to use as cupcake toppers or tags!

Don't have a paper punch? Not a problem! My printable party circle files come with 2 different sheets, one with a square shape to use with paper punches and one with the circle in the right size that you can cut with scissors. You can also cut the square shapes for a different look!

Easy peasy!

My new acquisition!

Ever since I started creating party stationery that I wanted to buy a 2" circle paper punch for the cupcake toppers and round labels.
I wanted one that was really easy to use and precise enough to let me see exactly where to punch, to make sure the design would be centered.
The ones I've seen on the shops around here were either too basic (didn't allow me to see where I would punch) or  too complicated (with separate parts going on top and bottom of the paper) and always expensive.
But I finally ordered the Fiskars Round n' Round paper punch from another Etsy seller and I got it today!

I was so excited that I had to try it right away. I'll show you how to use it with one of my party circle themes on the next post.
I'm very happy with this purchase and I can't wait to use it in my next projects!

Photo Booth Props

Photo booths are becoming a new trend on wedding receptions and birthday parties, and it's all about having the right props for the guests to have fun with.

If you don't want to spend a a lot of money on props or simply don't have the time to be looking for them, why not considering diy printables? These are cheap, easy to make and you can throw them out by the end of the party and print them again later if you need them for other occasion.

The first collection is now available on my shop.

Happiness is in the little things

I don't know how I could manage to live almost one year in a country where the ingredients in recipes are measured in cups and spoons, instead of grams and millilitres, without a proper measurer! But yesterday I stumbled upon these wonderful tools at Aldi.

My "cuisine geek" side jumped with joy and I could't help but bringing them home with me. And my creative side too, of course, as I loved the colours and the fact that the cup measurer is made of silicone and can be "shrinked" when not in use.
It was love at first sight!

Love birds

Still in Valentine's Day mood, meet the new "love birds" theme.
With a different colour pallet, this theme is more fun and less girly, without compromising the romantic side. The stripes give it a slightly nautical feel and I can definitely see this items being used on other different occasions.
I hope you like it!

New items for Valentine's Day

No party would be complete without some cute little flags. These can be used on straws or even toothpicks to embellish the yummy treats on the table.
And no cupcakes would be dressed without the proper wrappers, coordinated with the rest of the party props.
That's why I've just added these items to complement the Valentine's  Day hearts collection. Check them out at the shop!
